Elect Rick Davis for Brazos County District Attorney

" Decisive, Effective, Hardworking, & Fair "

Experienced trial lawyer.  Former Judge.  Former Armor Officer and M-1 Tank Company Commander.  Successful small business man.  Former NASA engineer.  Husband and father.  All of these describe Rick Davis, Republican candidate for Brazos County District Attorney.  

Rick Davis earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&MVOTE FOR RICK DAVISUniversity.  While a student, Rick was a member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Cadet Corps and was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army.  Hew was qualified both as an Infantry Officer and Armor Officer and served for more than 10 years in the 49th Armored Division of the Texas National Guard. 

After graduation, he worked as an engineer at NASA in Houston, first in the Space Shuttle Program, then in the Space Station Program.  While at McDonnell Douglas, he was awarded the General Manager's Award for his work on the STS-37, which was the first space shuttle flight after the 1986 Space Shuttle Challenger accident on which astronauts successfully performed extra-vehicular activities. 

Rick Davis aVOTE FOR RICK DAVISnd his wife, Carolyn, who is also an Aggie, have been married for over 25 years and live in College Station.  They are the proud parents of six children.  Their oldest son is a Texas Aggie, a Mechanical Engineer in the Oil & Gas Industry, and a 2nd Lieutenant in the Texas Army National Guard.  Their second son is a Cadet of Texas A&M, an Architecture Major and Commander of Company K-1 which is the same unit where their fourth son is a sophomore Cadet.  Their third son aspires to become a police officer.  Their younger two children attend school in College Station.

Rick is a long time conservative Republican and first served as a delegate to the Texas Republican State Convention in 1988. 

Rick is an avid outdoorsman, hunter, and reader.  In 2007, Rick published his first book; The Prison Sermons (see www.zenaspublishinghouse.com).
